Organically grown 100% cotton waffle weave towel, designed especially for the sauna.
Entirely made from organic natural fibres, so no synthetics shed into the hot sauna air for you to breathe into your lungs.
The open waffle weave has 40% more surface area - it dries twice as fast as a normal towel helping it stay fresh between sessions. Bacteria need damp to survive, and a towel that dries completely doesn't give them any.
Thick and soft from the first use, enough that you won't feel the hot wood through it or have bench burns and splinters. We made it long enough (160 x 80cm) to lie down full-length on cotton instead of timber.
Most regulars bring two towels, one to sit on and one for showering after the session.

A bath towel is built for tiles and cool air. Most are part polyester — and at sauna temperatures, synthetic fibres break down and shed into the air you're breathing.

What's it made from?+
100% organically grown cotton. No polyester, no microfibre, no blends. Synthetic fibres break down under sauna heat and can shed into the air you're breathing. Cotton is natural and holds up at 90°C, so that's all we use.
What size is the towel?+
80 by 160 centimetres (31.5″ × 63″). Bench-length: long enough to lie on full-length without your skin on the wood. Most bath towels, at around 140cm, aren't.
Why a waffle weave?+
Waffle has roughly 40% more surface area than a flat weave. It pulls water off you faster, dries faster between sessions, and gives you a comfortable textured surface on the hard bench that doesn't flatten in the heat.
Can I use it in an infrared sauna or steam room?+
Yes — it's cotton, so heat, steam and infrared are all fine. Wet or dry, on the bench or wrapped around you, it works in all of them.
Does it come with the hat?+
They're built as a kit: the hat covers your head, the towel goes between you and the wood — both 100% natural fibre. Add the towel to any hat order for a discount. You can also buy it on its own, or as a pair — two towels, because everyone who saunas regularly already uses two: one for the bench, one for after.
What is your returns policy?+
Unused towels can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. For hygiene reasons, once it's been washed or taken into the sauna we can't take it back — but if something's wrong with it, tell us and we'll make it right.
