We’re Rick and Dominic — friends, founders, and unapologetic sauna obsessives. For years, the sauna was our reset ritual: where the day slowed down, ideas came unforced, and the noise of everything else burned away.
Somewhere between rounds, we realised the same thing every serious sauna-goer eventually does - your body can handle the heat, but your head can’t. The scalp sting, the dizzy cutoff, the fried hair afterwards. The solution existed - the sauna hat - but every version we tried was thin, itchy, or plasticky. An afterthought, not a tool worthy of the ritual.
So we built the one we wanted.
Each Cult of Sauna hat is hand-felted from dense New Zealand wool by artisans, designed to regulate head heat and protect hair so you can stay longer, recover better, and actually enjoy the calm that follows. It’s not fashion, and it’s not fluff — it’s function refined to its simplest form.
